Therapy and Assessment for Adults, Adolescents, Children, and Families
All clinicians within our practice have completed, or are completing, doctorates in psychology. In addition to fully licensed clinical and counselling psychologists, and psychologists in the final stages of their training, we also offer placements to students in doctoral programs.
Clients present with a wide range of challenges, concerns, and goals. Some of these include anxiety disorders (e.g. obsessive-compulsive disorder, social phobia, separation anxiety), depression, work stress, behavioural difficulties, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and family conflict.
We see clients who seek out treatment themselves, or who are referred by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, long-term disability providers, Health Canada's Non-Insured Health Benefits program, and other third-party payers.
A referral is not required.
We offer therapy and assessment to adults, adolescents, children, and families in the Niagara region. In addition, we offer internet-based treatment options to Ontario residents. Cognitive behavioral therapy is our primary therapy modality but we also offer additional forms of intervention to support clients with their specific goals. We offer a wide range of assessment services, including determining whether learning disorders/disabilities, ADHD, or other mental health concerns are present. We also complete assessments to determine cognitive and adaptive functioning, as required by various funding agencies.
In an effort to continue caring for our clients, we now offer therapy appointments via secure videoconference or by telephone. Appointments are available for new or existing clients.
